Mouse Infestation Closes Moroccan Restaurant

Inspectors found four major health violations and 13 minor violations at Darna Mediterranean this summer.

After spotting mouse droppings in several places, including the lid of a food container, county health inspectors closed Darna Mediterranean in June.

Mouse droppings were first spotted June 21, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. The problem was corrected and the restaurant reopened the next day.

But on June 29, inspectors returned and found more mouse droppings on the wooden board of a table near the rear exit.
