Familiar Faces Win Fountain Valley City Council Race

An incumbent and a former councilwoman capture the two open seats. Plus: results in school district races, assembly and more.

It looks like two familiar faces will be sworn in to the next version of Fountain Valley's City Council.

Incumbent Steve Nagel and former councilwoman Cheryl Brothers won handily in Tuesday's race for two open City Council seats.

With all precincts reporting, Nagel captured 36 percent of the vote, followed by Brothers with 26 percent, Patrick Tucker at 17.1 percent, Bryan J. Tice with 10.6 percent and Duy T. Nguyen with 10.3 percent.

In other local races...

It's Patrick Tucker, not Turner. Get your facts straight.
