Plans for a new 3,400-square foot Chase Bank building will be on the table Wednesday night at the regular meeting of the Fountain Valley Planning Commsision.
The building would be located at 9025 Garfield Avenue, and the proposal also includes plans to remove the from the site, which is owned by Harry Naeim. The proposal is being made in Naeim's behalf by Stantec Architects, and it's not known whether Naeim has plans to sell the land. An employee at the Shell station was not aware as of Monday afternoon of any plans to close the station.
The commission will also consider proposals from two new businesses looking to operate in town, and from another business hoping to modify its house of businesses. Ennar CalAsian Grill has submitted an application to open a restaurant with patio seating at 16161 Brookhurst St., and Global JiuJitzu has submitted an application to operate a Jiu Jitzu training facility at 16540 Harbor Blvd.
City Grill, located at 18010 Newhope St., has submitted a petition to change its hours of operation from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is also asking to increase its indoor seating from 49 people to 69.
