Where is Fountain Valley’s Best Cupcake?

America has developed a minor obsession with the cupcake.

What other dessert allows you to indulge in cake-y goodness in such a neat little package, then finish it in a few quick bites?

Only the cupcake. It has become one of life’s guilty little pleasures.

And now, many bakeries are responding to the nation's cupcake attraction, rededicating their efforts and putting forth their expertise into the creation of the ultimate, superduper cupcake. There are the traditionalists who favor flavors such as chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. Then there are the radicals who clamor for new concoctions such as raspberry champagne, churro and mintalicious.

These days, there seems to be a tiny cake, gooey frosting and sprinkle topping for every whim and desire.

This week Patch is on the hunt for Fountain Valley’s best cupcake. Tell us your favorite cupcakery, bakery or grocery store where you can indulge in the All-American cupcake, and don't hesitate to include unique flavors.
