After pioneering an inaugural community initiative with the launch of the Orange County Blend Coffee and Orange County Sunshine Blend Tea, is launching a school supplies drive to further support local schools. Through Sept. 18, all 24 Orange County locations are collecting school supplies.
Donations to the Fountain Valley location will help provide art supplies at . To help drive collections, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will offer $1 off any beverage to any Orange County customer who donates supplies on Monday. Additionally, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., each of the 24 Orange County locations will make $1 donation per beverage served to its adopted school.
In February, each of 24 The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations in the county selected a nearby school that benefits from the sale of the OC Blend Coffee and Sunshine Blend Tea.
The OC Blend Coffee and Tea will be available in stores until October 31, 2011, exclusively in Orange County. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf donates $1 from the sale of each bag of the special blend coffee and tin of tea to its adopted school.
