Moiola Elementary Celebrates Special Persons Day

A holiday music performance and visits to the classroom highlight Special Persons Day.

The students at Moiola Elemantary celebrated the last day of school before winter break with a holiday music performance for all the "Special People" in their lives.

Parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles all gathered at Moiola at to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast, followed by the flag ceremony led by our local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops. Then each grade level took the stage to sing a selection of toe-tapping holiday carols.

PTA President Laura Calnon handed out awards for the grandparent with the most grandchildren (18) and the couple who had been married the longest (63 years).
