C.J. Wilson: streak stopper.

The Fountain Valley High product improved to 2-0 on the season Saturday at Yankee Stadium, going six strong innings and helping the Angels snap a three-game losing streak with a 7-1 win over the Yankees.

It's the second time is less than a week that Wilson has helped the Angels snap a losing streak. He got the win last Monday in his first start an Angel, beating the Twins at Minnesota. He got even more run support Saturday as the Angels exploded for six runs in the first four innings.

Wilson, who got his first win over the Yankees in six career starts against them, pitched out of several jams, stranding runners at second and third in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings before giving way to the bullpen.
