Lady Baron Hoops Challenge Set to Begin Monday
The tournament features several quality teams, including 2 of Fountain Valley's Sunset League rivals.
The Fountain Valley girls basketball team will begin its regular season Tuesday at home against Costa Mesa as the Lady Barons host the Lady Baron Hoops Challenge, starting.
The tournament starts Monday afternoon, and features several quality teams, including two that the Lady Barons will face during Sunset League play: Huntington Beach and Los Alamitos. The tournament is the start of a three-week homestand to start Fountain Valley's season, starting with the tournament and ending the week of Dec. 19 with games against La Quinta and El Toro.
The tournament begins Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. with Esperanza taking on Los Alamitos. The Lady Barons will tip off Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. Full tournament pairings can be found here.
