Lobos Endure Sloppy Loss at Estancia

Looking like a team playing its fifth game in as many nights, the Los Amigos boys basketball team struggled on both ends of the floor Friday night in a 49-30 loss at Estancia.

The Lobos were within striking distance most of the first half despite some sloppy turnovers and shaky shooting, trailing by just seven at halftime, 25-18. But Estancia broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Los Amigos 16-5 with plenty of help from another generous handful of Lobos turnovers.

Jorge Bedolla led the Lobos with 13 points in the loss. Los Amigos next plays Dec. 20 against host Century in the Century High tournament.
