The Flame Broiler Inc.

In 1995, fresh out of UCLA Business School, Young Lee decided to open the first Flame Broiler in Fullerton. Now, 15 years and 60 locations all over California and Arizona later, its still serving the same dishes. The idea is to serve simple, healthy meats over rice and vegetables topped off with the secret "flame boiler sauce." Flame Broiler bowls have chicken, beef or a combination of the two, for under $6. Add fruit and a bigger portion for a Flame Broiler Plate for just $1 more. And because the restaurant is a fusion of simple American and Korean dishes, all meals come with kimchi, a spicy Korean salad with cabbage, ginger and onions. "Grab a square meal in a round bowl" in the large indoor area or the outdoor area shared with Pho 99. This location has been open since 2009.
