The large campus includes tennis courts, athletic fields, 62 permanent classrooms, 20 portable classrooms, guidance office, a book store, locker rooms, food court, a theater, career center, student store and a gymnasium with dance and wrestling rooms. Along with academic departments, the school offers such programs as Advanced Placement, Credit Recovery, ROP, tutoring and Advancement Via Individual Determination. The counseling staff offers assistance in choosing courses, applying for colleges and finding scholarships. Los Amigos High School has very active sports and performing arts programs, as well.
Orange County Sanitation District

This is Reclamation Plant No. 1 for the Orange County Sanitation District. The agency collects, treats and disposes ofMore or reclaims wastewater from central and northwestern Orange County. It is the third largest wastewater agency west of the Mississippi River, serving 21 cities and three special districts. The advanced water treatment facility purifies wastewater through several methods, then releases the water into the Orange County Groundwater Basin. The facility also recycles boisolids found in the wastewater to produce soil amendments for farms and gardens. For more than 25 years, the Orange County Sanitation District has also been monitoring the ocean along the Orange County coast for water quality, sediment quality and sea life. Educational tours are available for groups of 10 to 25, and are free to schools, clubs and other organizations.
