Where to Watch the Super Bowl in Fountain Valley

Looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday? Here are six great places to watch the Big Game and have plenty of food, drinks and fun, too.

With Super Bowl XLVI just a few days away, it’s about time to decide where you are going to watch the game. To make things easy, several bars and restaurants in Fountain Valley already have planned the party for you. Here is a list of six places to watch the game outside of the house:

Silky Sullivan's: The legendary sports bar will be holding its 28th Annual Super Bowl bash this year with some great giveaways and very affordable food and drink prices. The first 100 people at Silky's can sign up for the free Super Bowl pool. Shirts, movie tickets and other items will be given away each time the score changes. In addition, collector Super Bowl shirts and hats can be purchased. The shirts are $15 and are black with the logo of each previous Super Bowl winner on the back, The black hats are $12 and have both the Giants and Patriots logos on the front. Drink specials include pints of beer and shots, while food specials include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Nathan hot dogs, tacos and sliders. Each costs between $1 and $3. Ed’s Stumble Inn: This sports bar with the unique name will feature a special cuisine in honor of the two Super Bowl teams. A lobster roll with Boston Baked Beans can be purchased by New England Patriots fans for $6 apiece, while Nathan hot dogs and fries can be ordered by New York Giants fans for $6 each. Beer specials include a 16 oz. Pabst Blue Ribbon or Belgian White for $3.25, along with a Bloody Mary special. There also will be giveaways every quarter. Fountain Bowl: Ozzie’s Football Party will be held at the bowling alley’s bar, but get there early because capacity is only 50. The party starts at 3 p.m. and includes Ozzie dogs, chili, and sandwiches with all the fixings, along with chips and salsa and salad. The cost is $10 per person. Domestic drafts are $2 per glass. There also will be a chili cook-off contest, so bring your best chili to compete again the others. Prizes will be given away throughout the game. There are 10 HD flat screens, including a 72” screen. First Class Pizza: If you prefer Italian food with your football this is the place to be. Patrons can enjoy the action on 12 HD TV’s, including one in the outdoor patio. Drink specials include buckets of domestic beer for $12 and Vodka drinks. First Class also will be debuting Diane’s Homemade Lasagna, made by the mother of one of the owners, with garlic bread, for $8.99. The restaurant seats 130, but for parties of eight or more it’s best to make reservations. Pick the winner and final score of the Super Bowl and win a $50 gift card to First Class Pizza! The Blarney Stone: An Irish pub and favorite among locals is celebrating the Super Bowl with some great drink prices and a free potluck dinner (with drink purchase). Special drinks include 16 oz. domestic drafts for $3, all Schnapps for $3, Jell-O shots for $1 and 16 oz. imported beer for $4. Blarney’s offers eight flat screens. Black Angus: It is business as usual for the restaurant with its weekly NFL Happy Hour Special back for the final week of the football season at the BullsEye Bar. Starting at 11 a.m., patrons can choose from a long list of appetizers, including Buffalo wings, fried zucchini, loaded potato skins, steak and chicken nachos and more—all for between $3-$5.
