Votes Trickling In for Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant

Five men are in the running to be named Mr. Fountain Valley, and are helping raise money for local charities at the same time. Cast your votes now!

The second annual Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant is about a month away, but the voting has already started.

Five men from Fountain Valley are competing in the pageant to help raise money for local non-profit organizations. Hosted by the Fountain Valley Community Foundation and the Fountain Valley Educational Foundation, the pageant will take place on Friday, April 12 at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center.

The competition will include categories in formal wear, talent, swimwear and a Question and Answer portion. Here is a look at how the competition is going so far:

CONTESTANTS (and their vote standings as of 2/27/2013):
1st: Kenneth Kim – Representing the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Foundation
2nd: Franck Bideau – Representing the Fountain Valley Educational Foundation
3rd: Roberto Bank e – Representing the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Club
4th: Art Groeneveld – Representing the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley
5th: Sergio Flores – Representing the Fountain Valley Community Foundation

Pageant tickets are being sold for $40. Attendees must be 21 years of age to attend and IDs will be checked at the door. For ticket sales or to cast votes, go to fvcommunityfoundation.org or fvef.org.
