Fountain Valley-Based MEDL Mobile Releases 'Montessori Revolution' App

Fountain Valley-based MEDL Mobile announced the launch Friday of "Montessori Revolution," a mobile app based on the highly regarded Montessori educational method for children ages 2 1/2 to 6.

The app, which is available for iPads with iOS4 or greater, provides a virtual classroom with educational content from the Montessori curriculum, and allows parents and tutors the opportunity to apply Montessori principles to educate children anywhere. The app is available now in the iTunes App Store.

The app features dynamic, colorful and highly interactive exercises covering the five main areas of the Montessori curriculum: practical life including concentration, fine and gross motor skills development; sensorial materials for the development of cognitive skills; language; mathematics; and geography and cultural studies. The app also provides parents and teachers with tools for assessing how their child and student is progressing.
