Fountain Valley Chamber Moves Into Spacious New Digs

The 1,100-square-foot offices are located in the heart of the Civic Center.

The Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce is back open for business this week after moving into a spacious new office suite on the second floor of the Fountain Valley School District's offices on Slater Avenue.

The Chamber's lease was up on its former Warner Avenue office, and the district approached chamber officials about moving into the 1,100-square-foot-space. For Chamber President Beverly White, it was a win-win.

"With the cutbacks in the school system, we thought, 'Why not?' she said. "Move here, and that way they've got income from the suite, and we're supporting the school system."

Besides the extra 400 square feet of space, the new office boasts a full kitchen and conference room, as well as a view of Brookhurst Avenue, the unofficial center of the city's commercial community, and a prime location in the heart of Fountain Valley's Civic Center.

"We have visibility now," White said. "We're connected to the schools, we're across the street from the city, and we're all connected now."
