Huntington Beach Photographer Displays Art at OC Airport

Photographs by Edward Pinchiff are on exhibit at John Wayne Airport through April 19.

A selection of photographs by Huntington Beach photographer Edward Pinchiff are now on exhibit at John Wayne Airport.

Pinchiff's photography can be seen through April 19 in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal as part of the airport's Community Focus Space Program. The featured images showcase Yosemite National Park in the lesser-seen season of winter, as well as images from the annual Huntington Beach Fourth of July Parade.

"I see photographic opportunities in terms of time as well as subject matter - nature when it is most elemental and people when they are emotional and living in the moment," Pinchiff said in a released statement.

Pinchiff said he developed an appreciation for photography in the late 1960's when, at the age of seven, he borrowed the family camera and looked at life through the lens. Childhood vacations to the High Sierra Mountains cemented his interest in Yosemite's landscape.

Visitors can see the photographs on the Departure (upper) Level near the security screening areas in Terminals A, B and C and on the Arrival (lower) Level adjacent to Baggage Carousels 1 and 4.
