Magic Carpet Takes Wrong Turn in Disney Aladdin Show

Performers were left hanging upside down when the "carpet" flipped.

Performers in the "Aladdin" music show at Disney's California Adventure park were left suspended upside down and swaying Sunday when the carpet flipped midway through the performance.

No one was hurt.

A video posted on YouTube shows the two performers, who were strapped in, swaying back and forth above the stage.

“We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you," a show announcer said. "Once again this performance cannot continue.  Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, we ask that you please exit using the doors on your right.”

The park resumed its “Aladdin” shows Monday.
