Pre-trial in the case is set for Jan. 12.

An Orange man pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges he sent nude photos of himself to three Fountain Valley boys and tried to seduce them.

Pre-trial in the case is now set for Jan. 12. Miguel Mendoza, 20, is accused of meeting the three boys through an online cell phone application. Over the course of a month, Mendoza is accused of continuing to text message all three victims. On Aug. 29, 2010, he is accused of arranging to meet John Doe #1 at 11:30 p.m. at a 7-Eleven located at Euclid Street and Warner Avenue in Fountain Valley with the intention of engaging in sex acts.

That same day, the mother of John Doe #1 noticed inappropriate text messages and pictures from Mendoza on her son’s cell phone and contacted the Fountain Valley Police Department, which investigated this case.
