Since opening its doors in 2005, the MemorialCare Cancer Institute at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center has dedicated itself to providing compassionate and innovative cancer care to Orange County residents. To celebrate its seventh anniversary, the Cancer Institute and the Community Advisory Council are inviting its served communities to attend the Fall Festival for Life on Saturday, November 10, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The free event will take place at the Orange Coast Patient Care Pavilion located on 18111 Brookhurst St. in Fountain Valley.
Those in attendance will receive a tour of the Institute and free health services including skin cancer screenings, clinical breast exams, flu shots, as well as cancer education and “Ask-the-Doctor” booths. In addition, attendees will enjoy refreshments, free gifts, a craft boutique and live musical entertainment.

The MemorialCare Cancer Institute at Orange Coast provides comprehensive services for the prevention and treatment of cancer under the medical leadership of renowned oncologists and other prestigious specialists.
Services include: State-of-the-art facilities for the research, diagnosis and treatment of cancer; No-cost prevention and screening programs open to the community; Advanced MRI, including Breast MRI and CT scanning for early detection; Radiation therapy and CyberKnife for cancer treatment; and the American Cancer Society Information Center open at-no-cost to the community.
