Rosemary Green, long time resident of Fountain Valley died on Jan. 5, after a long illness. Rosemary was long admired for her volunteer work in the community. She is remembered as one not content to sit on the sidelines, whenever she saw a need for help, she stepped right in.

Rosemary gave her time to support her children's activities at Gisler Elementary, Masuda Middle School, and Fountain Valley High School. She will be missed for her invaluable contributions to several youth sport programs, including Fountain Valley Little League, Fountain Valley Pony baseball, and as a cheer mom for her daughter Tamara's many teams for more than 15 years in the Huntington Beach Pop Warner Football and Cheer organization.

She is survived by children Tamara and Anthony, Darrell and Sarah, Joe, Stephen, and a granddaughter Mckenzie; as well as siblings, extended family and close friends.
