WOW...OUTSTANDING..... Great waste of resources. Congratulations. If it was advertised more extensively we could of gone with a zero rate of DUI apprehension. Why wasn't an ad taken out in the Orange County Register also indicating the check point? Why wasn't channel 2 news informed?? Inquisitive minds want to know??

Complete waste of time and resources. I called the FVPD to find out where it was and posted it on facebook as well as, informed the local bars. I have lived here for 44 years and think it's BS that the county/cities do this. For the 853 people who did not get cited or arrested it was annoying. This is one of the primary reasons the state has no money. Wasted funds! Just plain stupid.

Hey Paul!!! You and I must be the only concerned citizens as no one else has commented. Now I know how they will vote next month.

Anyone know if FVPD is required to give notice of checkpoints? Even if so, it doesn't justify the wasted funds. I'm just curious if FVPD is required to give the notice. If they are, that kind of defeats the purpose...
