Attempted Burglary at Local Dental Office

Police briefs from around Fountain Valley.

A suspected forgery was reported at Chevron on Warner Avenue and Magnolia Street, Feb. 9 at 7:16 p.m. when a credit card purchase was denied due to the mismatched information a woman had tried linking the card with.

A disturbance of peace was reported at Corner Bakery on Brookhurst Street and Ellis Avenue, Jan. 8 at 11:22 a.m. by a customer who witnessed a woman hitting a man at the business.

A person reported an attempted burglary at a dental office on Magnolia Street near Talbert Avenue, Jan. 7 at 2:16 p.m. when unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking a door lock and tried to remove an air compressor. The suspect(s) were unsuccessful and fled without detection. Estimated damage was $300.
