Guitar Center Reports More Than $2,000 in Instruments Missing

Grand theft was reported by on Euclid Street and Condor Avenue, July 8 at 6:50 p.m. An employee reported $2,100 worth of guitars and basses were taken from the store.
Theft from a residence on Morning Glory Avenue was reported July 11 at 4 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry by tearing a window screen, and fled undetected with a $600 speaker set. Damage was estimated at $40.
Theft from a vehicle was reported on Talbert Avenue and Brookhurst Street near , July 9 at 10:31 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) broke the driver's side window and fled undetected with a $1,300 purse, which had been hidden under the driver's seat. Damage was estimated at $200.

Identity theft was reported on Walnut Street, July 8 at 3:48 p.m., when the victim was notified by her bank of five suspicious charges totaling $560 made to her credit card. The card was never physically lost or stolen and the victim does not know how the suspect(s) gained access to the credit card number.
A tire was reported missing from a vehicle parked in an apartment complex lot on Warner Avenue, July 7 at 11:25 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) fled undetected with the $427 front passenger side tire, leaving the vehicle sitting on a cement block.
