Multiple Residential, Vehicle Burglaries Reported

Police reports from around Fountain Valley.

Theft from a residence was reported from San Miguel Court, Oct. 15 at 11:19 a.m. The victim had been setting up for a yard sale when an unknown subject offered to help gather items for her. When the victim went into the home and came back out, she discovered her wallet and several items from her garage missing. The unknown suspect(s) fled undetected.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on Mesquite Circle, Oct. 15 at 11:13 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through the unlocked driver’s side door and removed a checkbook and an unknown amount of change before fleeing undetected.

Theft from a vehicle was reported from Teal Circle, Oct. 14 at 7:21 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) entered the secured vehicle through unknown means while parked on a driveway. The victim discovered the front driver’s and passenger door opened in the morning but did not report any damage or property loss.

Theft from a residence was reported on Pinyon Circle, Oct. 14 at 3:32 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through an unlocked door and took several items valued at $1,000 before fleeing undetected. Additional pry marks on a side door were also reported. Damage was estimated at $100.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on San Mateo Street, Oct. 14 at 12:16 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through unknown means and took a debit Visa card from the center armrest. The victim was informed by her bank that the card had been used and declined four times between 3:46 and 4 a.m. earlier in the day.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on Warner Avenue near Euclid Street, Oct. 14 at 11:43 a.m. The victim noticed that her trunk was slightly ajar and when opening it, she discovered her laptop bag was missing. No suspect(s) were seen or heard.

Petty theft was reported from Ellis Avenue near Ward Street, Oct. 14 at 3:15 p.m. The victim discovered the $250 bicycle missing when returning to retrieve it after work.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on Falcon Avenue, Oct. 13 at 2:53 p.m. The suspect gained entry by smashing the front passenger window and removed $8,700 worth of property. Damage was estimated at $500.

Theft from a vehicle was reported from Warbler Avenue, Oct. 11 at 7:55 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry by smashing the rear passenger window and took a purse from behind the driver’s seat. Estimated property loss was $1,500.
