Police said there were indications of "ongoing criminal activity" in the home, and investigators do not believe the shooting was random. Detectives seized an undisclosed amount of drugs and cash at the residence, Schoales said, and also recovered a weapon believed to have been used in the attack.

Investigators were seeking multiple suspects and  questioned a witness, but declined to release further details.
