Islands Restaurant Receives Patch Award for 'Best Burger'
General manager Nick Smith accepts the first-place certificate on behalf of Islands and the restaurant's staff.
Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks was awarded the "Best of Patch" first place certificate for having the "Best Burger in Fountain Valley," according to a poll of readers. The ceremony was held at the restaurant Friday afternoon.
"This is quite an honor," said Nick Smith, general manager for Island's in Fountain Valley. This June will mark the 25th anniversary for Islands at the same location, 18621 Brookhurst Street.
