Lobos Fall 4-1 to Santiago

Despite outhitting Santiago 6-4 on Friday, the Los Amigos baseball team went down at home by the score of 4-1.

Errors in the first inning and an unusual balk call later in the third proved costly for the Lobos, who dropped to 1-3 in league play despite a team ERA of less than 1.50.

"We should be 4-0, but that's baseball," Los Amigos coach Art Maltby said. "We are in every game, which is a big improvement from years prior."
