A group of Fountain Valley students raised $1,400 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in just two weeks by collecting quarters and other donations from friends and family.
The students, who attend the California Virtual Academy, were inspired by a fellow student in their fundraising efforts. In honor of their achievment, BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse donated $1,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on their behalf, and hosted a celebration for the students.
